Spies have caught the 2012 Hyundai i20 Facelift prototypes doing their latest round of testing in cold weather conditions.

The prototype here is a heavily camouflaged 5-door hatchback body-style but we can still spot its new front, adopting an updated Hyundai’s design. The front fascia will sport a new design and the development team of the korean automaker going a little further to hide the new headlights, we can still see a small portion of the “swirl” reflector as seen on the Hyundai i30 and i40 headlight designs peeking through.

Besides, the interior is due for an update and the spy photographer has managed to snag a picture revealing the first details. The original Hyundai i20 was first unveiled to the public at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, but it is possible we will see the new facelifted i20 unveiled as soon as the Geneva Motor Show which begins in early March.
