Today is spy shots’ day! Now is the turn of the refreshed Hyundai Elantra (known Avante in South Korea). The South Korean carmaker is preparing a light facelift for Elantra to help keep it competitive with its big-selling Japanese rivals and we be able to share with you news spy pictures including tailights patent pic.

We expect that the Elantra facelift will have a reprofiled bumper, fog lamps and LED daytime running lights. The interior could get a minor revision as well. The front bumper appears to be slightly more aggressive too, while the car may also gain a set of restyled alloy-wheels.

Under the hood, the revised Hyundai Elantra will be available a 1.6 T-GDi, which is already available in the 2014 Kia Forte. This highly-potent 1.6 GDi with turbo generates 201 hp and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. Also is possible to include the 2.0 GDi engine. The 173-horsepower engine is already available in a 2014 Kia Forte sedan

The refreshed 2014 Hyundai Elantra maybe will be ready to launch in the US as 2014-model year, but actually is not confirmed yet. Stay tuned!
