2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Receives New Updates for South Korea(Update)

Hyundai updates the Genesis Coupe coinciding with the launch of the next generation Genesis Sedan, with the purpose of keeping fresh until next-gen due to 2015-early 2016.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:5px;”]Currently this changes will be available only in South Korea by the end of this year. Not confirmed yet that this improvements come to the U.S. Rumors tell us that the next-gen, due to 2015/2016, will keep the 4 cylinder turbo. Instead they will have a medium range with the V6 GDi around 330 hp and the hot version with the Tau V8 GDi 5.0-liter and 429 hp.

Major updates are:

  • Sound generator : now equipped on all 2.0T trims.
  • Full underbody cover for better aero-dynamics and anti-rust/dirt protection.
  • Rearview camera on all nav trims.
  • Revised paddle shifters (design and material wise).
  • Revised manual transmission for better shifting feel and less noise.
  • Hill start assist.
  • Some new colors.
  • New 19-inch wheels (same design, darker finish) with Bridgestone run-flat tires for performance pkg.
  • Auto-folding outside mirrors.
  • Less squeaks and rattles.
