Hyundai Sonata LF Passes 10,000 Mark in Pre-order Sales in South Korea

Hyundai Motor’s brand-new Sonata LF is gaining popularity even before its official launch.LF Sonata, a full change model of YF Sonata, is set to be released in five years after Sonata YF was released, thereby quickly absorbing stand-by demand.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]According to Hyundai Motor, the pre-order sales of Sonata LF passed the 10,000 level, reaching 10,015 units on March 7, in just three days after debut on March 5 throughout Hyundai Motor’s sales offices nationwide. 

In the history of Hyundai Motor, this is the second highest pre-order sales, standing right behind Sonata YF which was sold 12,787 units during the first three days.Compared to Sonata YF, Sonata LF employs different design, engine, and transmission. 

LF Sonata also boasts superior collision safety. Hyundai Motor’s Namyang Research Center conducted a collision test, where LF Sonata’s collision safety acquired a “Good” rating compared to Sonata’s YF “Acceptable” rating on Small Overlap IIHS tests.
