All-New Carnival Sold More Than 17,000 Units in Just One and a Half Month

The All-New Carnival was sold more than 17,000 units in just one and a half month after being released, an unprecedented pace in the history of minivans. A Kia Motors official said, “The All-New Carnival is enjoying a huge popularity as a family minivan.”

On May 22 when Kia Motors started taking pre-orders, it set the All New Carnival’s monthly sales target at 4,000 units. However, in just one month after launching official sales, Kia Motors sold more than 12,000 units. 

Compared to its previous model Carnival 2G which passed the 17,000 mark in seven months after being launched, the new Carnival broke the level in just one and a half month. In other words, the Carnival is selling at a more than four times faster than its previous model. 

At present, the monthly output of the Carnival is about 5,000 units. Kia Motors explained that even if a customerwants to buy an Carnival now, she must wait to take the deliveryuntil late September or early October.
