Hyundai Starts to Compensate Customers for False Advertising Santa Fe’ Fuel Efficiency

Hyundai Motor is compensating South Korean owners of the Santa Fe SUV for false advertising about the car’s fuel efficiency. Duped customers can receive compensation by the end of the month.

Hyundai opened the website http://santafeinfo.hyundai.com to inform customers about compensation requirements and procedures. The compensation covers the Santa Fe DM 2.0 e-VGT 2WD manufactured after April 2012. Customers will receive W400,000 (US$376) per car.
