Hyundai i30 Sportsvan Spotted (4)

A few days ago I saw a few spy pictures of a mysterious hatchback from South Korea, and now, thanks to CarPIX, we come back with new pictures of the same car spotted, but this time near Hyundai’s European Technical Centre in Germany.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]We are searching for the name of this new car. In South Korea, forums talk about this could be the next-generation i30.

But if you have a closer look to the pictures, the car have higher windows, this could mean that Hyundai is preparing a Volkswagen Golf SportsVan rival for Europe, a car that is just a Golf, but it has more space and more comfort than a regular hatchback.

Why we think about is a Hyundai? Well, Kia has the Carens, I don’t think Kia wants to canibalize the sales between the cee’d and the Carens. Plus you can make out Hyundai’s signature hexagonal grille under the camouflage.

If we’re not wrong, this car will be followed by the third generation of the i30, set to debut in 2017. But this car might arrive before because looking at the pictures, it seems its closer to its final form.

Engine line-up could be formed by CRDi 1.6 diesel engines with the possibility of the in-house 7-speed automatic transmission and it also could be available with the new three-cylinder 1.0-liter 120 hp Kappa T-GDi engine.

And you, what do think?
