2018 Hyundai Grandeur, also know in different countries as Azera, and just like the i30 it has gone through some changes. lets take a look!

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Its finally here and the Grandeur is ready to show what the new line up of Hyundai will look like. Peter Schreyer said, “this is what Hyundai design should be”. Clearly there will be a lot of improvements on the new generations or facelift on the following models to come.

In this opportunity we get a first look of the Grandeur, known here in the USA as the Azera. This is now Hyundai’s top model ever since the Equus and Genesis Sedan decided to switch to Korean automaker new luxury brand, Genesis Motors. Now Hyundai has to proof to their customers that they can produce high end cars in their line up and we might have a winner here.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Unfortunately the exterior is heavily wrap with camouflage all over the car which makes difficult to tell some of the design cues this new generation will have. At the front we have a new design on the headlights and just like the i30, there is a high change this Grandeur will get the new “Cascade Grille”. Going to the side we can see a new design at the wheels, also the chrome trim that started at the top of the headlight and continued to the fender and later surround the whole front and back window has change,  this time it starts at the A-pillar and again goes around the whole window. Also the chrome trim at the C-pillar has become larger compared to the previous model giving a new shape to the quater window. The side mirror has also a small change which includes a chrome or silver accent at the bottom. Then at the back it’s really hard to tell but we might have the same design at the taillights with some small changes.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]One thing we do can tell is the interior, since some of the wrap was left uncovered. And what you know? Is the new interior design of the i30 model coming to the Azera,  with the tablet-style design at the top but in this opportunity we get an analog o’clock on the right side, which in my opinion is a terrible location for it. Also just like the i30, the A/C vents are now at the bottom of the screen though one thing missing are the buttons and dials which are located at the bottom of the vents,  and below that the A/C controls. The shifter looks a lot shorter but still has the same design,  including the cup holders right next to it. And let’s not forget the door panels which has a complete new make over continuing the chrome trim now on the inside.

stay tuned for more details to come!
