It’s hard to believe a year has passed since Hyundai created its own luxury brand the Genesis Brand. With continued announcements on new vehicles, the N line, and future concepts, it can be difficult to keep track of all their endeavors.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:6px;”]Based on sales numbers it looks as though the Genesis line is fulfilling its purpose of representing the luxury brand for Hyundai. Compared to 2016’s total sales, the Genesis brand increased in total sales by over 13,000 units over the previous year. With its star player being the G80 with 16,196 units sold, and a 12% gain over previous December month sales.

The public seems to like the direction that Hyundai is taking. The G90 is also showing promise by its total sales going from 782 to a solid 4,398 units over the course of a year.

Combined both vehicles have satisfied the company’s 2017 objective in terms of sales. In addition to meeting sales goals, during the process the genesis brand gained serious recognition from third parties like J.D. Power, ALG, Auto Pacific, and Women’s Choice awards to name a few.  The Genesis Brand, seems to have started 2018 with good momentum forward, we call only wait and see how the new line develop this new year.
