The next generation of the Kia Rondo (Carens in Europe, but probably finally the Korean automaker will call cee’d MPV) continues its development, and today we bring to you ta first video of the 2014 Kia Rondo (yet to be confirmed if Kia will sell in USA) while testing on a proving ground, in Europe. The 2012 Geneva Motor Show it’s so close, and Kia prepares to unveil the new generation of the Cee’d hatchback, to fight with Opel Astra or Volkswagen Golf. However, the South Korean automaker’s plans don’t stop with the hatchback model and Kia has already begun testing a minivan version that will fight against the likes of the Renault Scénic.
Hyundai previewed their upcoming MPV / Crossover with the HED-5 iMode concept at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show and then, we can see new spy photos of the future MPV/Crossover testing in the winter. The Hyundai mid-size MPV will be ready earlier 2013 to fight in the very successful European MPV’s segment.
Kia Motors Corp. is recalling 145,000 vehicles to fix faulty airbags — the latest in a series of similar recalls by automakers over the last few months. The Korean automaker said it is recalling 95,569 2006-08 Optima cars and 50,186 2007-08 Rondo MPV.
