At the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai makes the official debut of the new generation of the Azera that will go on sale shortly as a 2012 model. The Azera is the US-spec version of the Korean market “Grandeur” was launched early 2011.

A reader from Carscoop caught the new 2013 Hyundai Elantra Coupe in Fullerton, California. This new pictures of the future 3-door coupe caught close than the Hyundai Motor America Headquarters, gave us to think would make debut at the 2011 LA AutoShow, but finally the korean automaker will be waiting until next February at the 2012 Chicago AutoShow to do the reveal.

A surprise on the Death Valley roads, courtesy of a reader from AlVolante.it caught a new mid-size MPV developed by Hyundai. According to current models of Korean symbols, this van could be called i55 and should be officially presented at the Los Angeles AutoShow, scheduled for 18 to 27 November 2011 (or at most in Detroit in January).

Hyundai is almost ready to sell you the new 2012 Azera. Before it does that, however, it needs your help. Hyundai has posted a link that leads you to a configurator for the 2012 Azera, and there is a survey posted at the end. The configurator will give you a good idea of how much the Azera will end up costing, as well as what color choices will be made available.

The automaker has just confirmed via Twitter that the 2012 Azera will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this year. The new sedan it slots above the Sonata but below the Genesis sedan and utilizes front-wheel-drive architecture. Think of it as a sort of Toyota Avalon competitor, a larger, comfortable cruiser for more traditional buyers.
According Inside Line, Hyundai is planning to unveil a new coupe version based on the Elantra at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. The two-door compact would help the 40-mpg Elantra compete more effectively against the rival Honda Civic Coupe, and as IL points out, the vehicle would also set the stage for an R-Spec offering, as well.
