2011 Guangzhou Auto Show: Kia K2 Hatchback.

The Kia K2 hatchback makes the official world debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show today. For those who can’t wait that long; here we have the new car from all sides including a pleasant surprise in the shape of a K2 Sporty version.

Based on the Kia K2 sedan that debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show in April and starting his sales in July, the southkorean hatchback is made in China by the Dongfeng-Yueda-Kia joint venture. Engines available are the same that on the sedan version, two petrol “Gamma” engines, a 1.4 with 107 hp and a 1.6 123 hp with to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an old 4-speed automatic gearbox. Price of the hatchback will start around 70.000 yuan.
