Hyundai’s new Elantra (Avante) will be on the roads in the South Korean domestic market by next year. According to the industry, the new Avante (codenamed AD) will be available in the first half of next year.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]At first, one of the succesful Hyundai’s models was schedule to be released during the second half of next year, but to respond to the speed of changing market environment, the South Korean brand decided to anticipate. The picture above could be the first picture of the next-generation Avante.
With the success of the recently new models launched by Hyundai, like the new Genesis or Sonata LF, Hyundai will use in the new Elantra the latest design way, the “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 “.
About the powertrain, the new Avante will include an improved GDi (Gasoline Direct Injention) and CRDi diesel engines, like the 1.6 Gamma and 1.6 u2. Hyundai wants to improve also the driving performance and interior quality. Is not confirmed, but the report talks about a Electric Vehicle variant will be planned. Stay tuned!
What car is pictured? Is it actually the AD Elantra?
Yeah, according to reports, is the new Elantra AD
I would like to believe the next generation Avante/Elantra will be superior to competitors like the Mazda 3 but I have to admit that I am not expecting too much in the ride and handling or miles-per-gallon rating. Why? Simple. Each and every time Hyundai releases a new model, it seems that they are always “competitive” but not leading the segment.
