As we advanced a few days ago, Hyundai and Kia were continuosly hard working onh more powerful versions of their cars, like with the N-performance or GT models, in order to make their cars more desirables. But at this time we were pretty surprised.[ads id=”9″]
Yet unconfirmed, thanks to our friend at SB-Medien we can share this pictures of a very advanced test mule of Kia’s new Ceed variant, the Shooting Break (which is set to debut in Paris in a few months) wearing the GT skin.
The new Kia Ceed was just revealed in March during the Geneva Car Show and we expected that the more powerful GT version is set to be revealed in Paris during this fall, alongside the new Shooting Brake variant, but at this time, we are pretty sure that the Ceed Shooting Brake GT model will be the star of the presentation.
Even if this car still has a lot of camouflage we see the deeper front spoiler, the side sills and the bigger exhaust pipes on each side. There are also some red exterior highlights as well as bigger brakes with red calipers, but the biggest clue is the GT logo embroidery on the seat.
Power is expected to come from a 1.6 liter four-cylinder turbo delivering some 200 horsepower or maybe add a gasoline turbo engine with an electric motor. But that’s not all, Kia will most likely also work on the suspension in order to improve handling and balance.
