hyundai palisade leaked

Despite Hyundai announced the name of its new 2020 flagship SUV, the Palisade, and the willing to make its global premiere at Los Angeles Auto Show on November 28, AutoReview Russian media has leaked today Hyundai’s SUV before being showcased.

The new SUV name references a series of coastal cliffs and might naturally be associated by many with the Pacific Palisades, an affluent and beautiful neighborhood in Southern California.

The future SUV will convey a bold exterior that commands attention and has strong inherent imagery of safety and security, especially important with parents with growing families and active lifestyles.

At this time, only one image was leaked, but the design is thicker than the conventional spy shots or renders, and more close to what we have seen on the Grandmaster Concept, and the C-pillar is thick, and the attention is focused on this side.

A “Walrus” inspired LED daytime running lights and a big chromed grille take the attention from the strong front view. Looking closer, the shape of the side mirror and the wheel design are the same as we have seen on the spy shots.

Palisade styling will offer dignity with style in an understated theme that demonstrates clear differentiation worthy of a flagship SUV. Global media will see the Palisade for the first time at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 28. The Palisade will begin U.S. market availability in the summer of 2019.

Engine line-up is not confirmed yet but after Palisade surpassed Korea Energy Homologation, it showed a 3.8 GDi engine with Front Wheel Drive and up to 20-inch Alloy wheels, and despite this configuration the fuel economy was set at 9,3 km/l (almost 22 mpg) which is not a bad number. A Diesel variant it is not ruled out.

What do you think about Hyundai’s big SUV?
