The new engines in the GV80 gasoline model are equipped with advanced technologies such as dual fuel injection systems and water-cooled intercoolers to improve fuel efficiency and response performance.

The dual fuel injection system combines the advantages of gasoline direct injection (GDi), which directly injects fuel into the combustion chamber, and multi-injection (MPi), which injects fuel into the inlet port of the combustion chamber. do.

Water-cooled intercoolers increase the responsiveness of the turbocharger by rapidly cooling the air entering the engine with coolant. This improves the sense of acceleration and enables dynamic performance under various environmental conditions.

In addition, the 2.5 turbo engine has a variable separation cooling system that controls the coolant flow and temperature, and the 3.5 turbo engine has a center injection that injects fuel from the center of the cylinder to improve combustion safety and improve fuel efficiency.

The 2.5-turbo model has a power output of up to 304 horsepower and a maximum torque of 43.0 kgfm, with a combined fuel economy of 9.7 km / l. The 3.5-turbo model also boasts best-in-class power performance, with a maximum output of 380 hp and a maximum torque of 54.0 kgfm. Combined fuel economy is 8.6km / l.

The sales price of the gasoline model starts from 60.370,000 won ($50,265) for the 2.5-liter Turbo to 65.870,000 won ($54,845) of the base 3.5-liter Twin Turbo. Genesis GV80, meanwhile, continues its popularity, breaking through the cumulative 21,000 contracts until last month.
