Hyundai Motor has officially opened pre-orders for the highly anticipated Casper Electric for the South Korean car market. This new electric vehicle, designed to offer exceptional value and affordability, marks a significant step in Hyundai’s commitment to making electric vehicles more accessible to the public.

The Electric variant of the Casper is available in three distinct configurations tailored to different customer needs. The Inspiration model stands out with its premium features offered at a reasonable price point. It boasts an impressive 315 km (195 miles) range on a single charge, making it ideal for urban driving. For outdoor enthusiasts, the cross model features an off-road style exterior.

The design of the Casper is both innovative and robust, featuring pixel graphics that enhance its modern look. The vehicle includes a variety of convenience and safety features, setting a new standard in its class.

When the Price is Key

Hyundai has priced the Casper Electric Inspiration model competitively. The base price is 31.5 million won ($24,500) before tax benefits. After applying eco-friendly vehicle tax incentives, the price is expected to start at 29.9 million won ($23,300). Considering government and local subsidies, the final price could drop to the low $20,000s, depending on regional support.

To promote the Casper Electric, Hyundai is launching a series of marketing activities. From July 12th to July 21st, Hyundai will host the ‘Casper Electric Studio’ at Apgujeong Rodeo Station in Gangnam, Seoul. Visitors can experience the Casper Electric firsthand and learn about the online purchasing process. An interactive ‘Solver Ability Test’ game area will also be available, allowing visitors to engage with the vehicle’s features. The fastest participant will win a Casper Electric.

A Hyundai spokesperson commented, “We designed the Casper Electric to combine unparalleled value with reasonable pricing, aiming to make electric vehicles more accessible to the public. The Casper Electric sets a new benchmark and offers an attractive choice for customers considering an electric vehicle.”
