Hyundai Debuts South Korean Spec New 2014 Avante/Elantra

Hyundai makes the official debut in South Korea of the refreshed 2014 Avante (also named Elantra in other overseas markets), following a couple of teasers released almost two weeks ago through his Korean Facebook Page.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:5px;”]The minor facelift include extending front and rear bumper, 5 mm and 15 mm respectively, The New Hyundai Avante grows up to 4550 mm. The facelift brings revisions to the front and rear bumper, grille, new design fog lamps and updated alloy wheels with two-tone chromed 17-inch alloys. The 2014 Avante also include projection headlamps, LED daytime running lights and rear LED combination lamps.

Looking inside the interior, Hyundai moved the center air vent position upward on the dashboard, while the front center armrest has been raised. Another things now also available are rear seat air vents, 3.5-inch OLED screen cluster, Flex Steer, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS).

The 2014 Hyundai Elantra for the South Korean market can now be available with the 1.6-liter diesel CRDi engine with Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG) system producing 126 hp and 279 Nm (206 lb-ft) of torque. When mated to the manual gearbox it will have a fuel economy of 5.4 l/100 km (43.5 mpg US), with the automatic grows up until 6.2 l/100 km (37.9 mpg US). The refreshed Avante is expected to start his sales on South Korean later August. For the Elantra, is scheduled to reach US dealerships later this year.
