Unlike in the past when Sonata buyers were mainly those in their 40s or 50s, the share of those who are in their 30s and 60s has increased.

According to the company, 18 percent of those who made pre-orders were in their 30s, 5 percentage points higher than that of previous Sonata models (13%). The share of those in their 60s also increased 3 percentage points to 19 percent. In contrast, the share of those in their 40s and 50s fell 1 percentage point each to 22 percent and 27 percent.

Along with the increase in the share of the customers in their 30s, the share of those who selected the white (ice white) color increased from 29 percent to 43 percent.
