2016 Santa Fe Launched in South Korea

The South Korean carmaker has launched the 2016 Santa Fe “The Prime”, including some changes, new equipments and more safety. 

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]If you can remember, the current Santa Fe was rated marginal on IIHS Small Overlap Crash test. According to Hyundai, the new Santa Fe improved the chassis and structure, with the use of High Strength Steel so the new model will be rated as Good.

At the same time, Hyundai introduced a lot of new safety systems on the 2016 Santa Fe, like the Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Autonomous Highway Safety Driving.

The 2016 Santa Fe includes a 100 megapixels rear camera (First on Korean Suv) and the 360º Around View Monitor, Dynamic banding Light, Advanced Parking Steering Support System, JBL Audio system’s are added.

Looking at the exterior the differences are the headlamps, front bumper, new LED Daytime Running Lights. About the rear end, new bumpers, tailights and new alloy wheels. Three new colours are available.

The available trims for the 2016 Santa Fe are, depending on the engine you choose, for example, for the 2.0 R-Engine Diesel are Smart, Modern, Exclusive, Exclusive Special. For the 2.2 R-Engine Diecel – Premium, Exclusive, Exclusive Special.
