The South Korean carmaker announced that it released a 2016 Kia Soul which is a diesel model mounted with a seven-speed DCT (double-clutch transmission).

The newly-released Soul adopts a new transmission to improve fuel efficiency, while featuring a wider adoption of customer-preferred specifications.

A Kia Motors official said, “The new Kia Soul uses outdoor items to improve space utilization and employs a seven-speed DCT to improve driving performance and economic value.”

Its roof rack is mounted as a basic option for all diesel trims and gasoline prestige-plus models. Outdoor items such as the roof box and bicycle carrier will be displayed at the customizing Tuon Mall.
