Hyundai i30 Sportsvan Spotted (3)

When we saw the first spy shots we can’t believe that South Korean carmaker has that level of development in the next generation Hyundai i30. A few weeks ago I saw a few spy pictures of a mysterious hatchback from South Korea, and now, thanks to CarPIX, we come back with new pictures of the future i30, but this time near Hyundai’s European Technical Centre in Germany.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]At first, we looked at the South Korea forums where users talked about this could be the next-generation i30, but after we met the new generation Elantra, we are sure that the new i30 will be more than ever a hatchback version of the Elantra.

If you have a closer look to the new Hyundai i30 pictures, the car have the same fog lights/air intakes than the new Elantra. Also it shares more parts like the hexagonal front grille, exterior mirrors, than long hood that provides a wider and lower car.

The new i30 will uses the same design cues followed by the new Elantra, like with the new slim and sporty headlights, redesigned wheel arches, a refined design based on the Fluidic Sculpture philosophy.

Engine line-up could be formed by CRDi 1.6 diesel engines with the possibility of the in-house 7-speed automatic transmission and it also could be available with the new three-cylinder 1.0-liter 120 hp Kappa T-GDi engine. The Hyundai i30 will be one of the first models under the “N performance” brand.

Most of these pictures are from WorldCars, Bobaedream, and other Korean car sites. But I understand why you’d put the link on them just to increase site traffic.

You see our logo on those pictures because we paid for them, not just for site traffic.

Where are DRL leds, do i miss smth? What are these strange horizontal lights on both sides in the front, looks like normal positioning lights, very cheap! No new patern for alu rims. No leds fo day lights, only xenon i suppose. Cuold be better.

The shot with the trailer… omg it is an AWD? bcuz on all Elantra sell in canada you can’t towing a trailer with an Elantra even not a 500 kg one!
this one trailer is way bigger or maybe filled up with helium or hydrogen!
Or they just want to know if the 7 speeds auto is tuff!!?

Seems to me wider, lower and longer. Strange, wider and longer ok, but lower, i30 is already pretty low to me.Difficult to figure it out how the rear lights will look like, seems relatilvy… huge. I didn’t notice any led’s at the rear as well. And this light just under the rear light, looks like Kia Sportage? New grill, interesting, but where are DRL leds? New alu, this one we already can see in current generation:/
