Thanks to our follower Brett Warren who caught again the Hyundai Genesis Coupe test mule during his hot weather testing in the Colorado, US, and send to us, today we can show new spy shots of the next-gen coupe.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:15px;”]The next generation Genesis Coupe is testing alongside of a pair of Genesis sedan (one totally covered under camouflage and the other with black bumpers) plus a Kia K900 full-size luxury sedan completely camouflaged too. But the question is, where are these cars going? Pikes Peak? Could they possibly be heading to Pikes Peak for further tests?

It’s moving away from a Mustang/Camaro style competitor, becoming more like a larger, more luxurious coupe. The car looks like it might be turning into a true coupe version of the improved, and more upscale Genesis sedan.

Maybe Hyundai will launch later a new 2+2 sports coupe to filling the gap that this new Genesis Coupe will leave. It remains rear wheel drive. We can expect the new Genesis Coupe as a 2016 model year. Stay tuned for more details soon!
