We spied the next generation 2026 Hyundai Palisade in the Arctic Circle thanks to our colleagues at SH Proshots. The three row crossover was caught during cold weather testing in Sweden and we have managed to get some nice close-ups including the engine bay or the interior.

Rumors suggest that the Palisade is built on a new and longer platform in order to make more room for the people in the second and third row. This will make the Palisade look better in the fight against the Honda Pilot and Toyota Grand Highlander. The boxier style that we saw with the new Santa Fe is continuing with the Palisade and that will also help to maximize the interior size.

Power will come from a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine with an hybrid set-up or a V6 twin turbo with 3.5 liter going to an automatic gearbox. Front-wheel drive will be standard with four-wheel drive being an option. Inside we can see a Turbo engine but could be gasoline as we can’t see that characteristic orange high voltage cables found in hybrid vehicles.

As you can see we also got some shots of the interior even if the test drivers didn’t like that kind of action too much. From the interior, you will see that Santa Fe inspired steering wheel while the dashboard layout remind us from the NEXO hydrogen fuel cell.

With the Palisade being one of the best-selling Hyundai models in the US it’s important to get this one right for this next generation.
