Finally we have got the first spy pictures that shows changes in the front end of the Kia Stinger Facelift after several set of pictures. Thanks to the our colleagues at AutoPost we can see a new LED DRL signature that can mean a change into the headlight design. Unlike other Hyundai-Kia models, which undergoes major changes when its time to a launch partial change model or facelift, the front part of the new Stinger is almost similar to the existing one.

What we know so far?

The overall headlamp shape, daytime running lights, and LED turn indicators are very similar to the previous one, and the positions of the vertical aero fender garnishes on both ends of the bumper are the same. On the other hand, the interior detail of the headlight was an existing one-hole projection LED, but it seems to have changed to a small-sized three-hole projection LED.

The unchanged side design changed the mood by applying a new wheel. The original Y-shaped five-spoke wheel design has been changed to a new sporty wheel. The star-shaped wheel cap and 10 spokes were placed in the center of the wheel in a balanced manner, making it look like a 5-spoke wheel, while giving it a bigger look.

Subsequently, the estimated 18-inch wheel was changed from the existing compact symmetric wheel design to a pinwheel shape. Unlike the existing 18-inch wheels, which are stable and neat, the new wheels are expected to give a dynamic feeling as if they are spinning even when stopped.

The rear has a completely new type of tail lamp, and it reverses the overall atmosphere. The long tail lamp design is similar, but unlike the current model, it is all lit up to the middle. It is similar to the design of the tail lamp of the Kia Motors sedan in recent years, but it is as tidy as it has been long. At the bottom of the tail lamp, a point-emitting LED turn indicator and a reversing light are applied, and the circular quad muffler tip is the same as before.

On the other hand, the Kia Stinger partial change model will be equipped with a 2.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a maximum output of 304 hp and a maximum torque of 43 kg.m, and a 3.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a maximum output of 380 hp and a maximum torque of 54 kg.m. to be.

design isn’t bad, I would honestly love to see an optional rear spoiler on the back of this car along with a few other things such as a better interior, seats, and a few other things. A car of it’s size needs a bare minimum of 400hp to be competitive with the rest of the world these days and for the money that it costs, The Stinger GT 3.5L Twin Turbo should be putting near 450hp with a 10-speed auto or 7-speed DCT along with a performance 3.5L Hybrid putting out 560hp with a 9-speed hybrid DCT powertrain and AWD. The car should have some type of magnetorheological suspension system along with Brembo brakes, a tuned exhaust system to give the car a louder, performance exhaust note, thick comfortable Recaro seating, lift the entire dash from the K5 optima and put it in this car along with a performance variant of the K5 steering wheel along with the K5 front end body language and now you have a car! That new K5 Kia is the best looking thing to come out of Korea since the Hyundai Genesis Coupe! (well, the front of it and the interior) If Kia makes the Stinger like this, I’d consider buying it.
