The refreshed Hyundai Santa Fe is almost here, and Gotcha Cars has updated its renderings to show what it could look like. They reflect what the latest spy photos and leaks have revealed, from the new front end to the full-width lights at the back.
These are independent renderings by Gotcha Cars, not official images. Hyundai has not revealed the final car yet, so some details could change.
A Cleaner Front End
The biggest change is the end of the polarizing "H" lights. As our leaked front-end photo showed, Hyundai is moving to slimmer headlights and vertical LED daytime running lights at the corners. Here is what the rendering shows up front:
Louvered grille: it spans the full width of the nose, with a slim LED bar above it.
Vertical LED lights: they run along the outer edges of the front end.
Tougher lower section: a contrasting bumper and dark wheel arches keep the boxy, rugged look.
Two-tone wheels: the checkered design appears in this rendering, but we cannot confirm it for the production car.
Full-Width Lights At The Rear
The back changes just as much. The taillights move away from the low, bumper-mounted position of the current model, and recent spy photos with less camouflage support the new layout.
Full-width light bar: a thin red bar connects both sides of the tailgate.
Vertical taillights: they frame the tailgate at each corner.
New badging: the Hyundai emblem sits above the bar, with widely spaced SANTA FE lettering below it.
Dark lower bumper: it holds the license plate and slim horizontal lights.
When Will It Launch?
We expect the refreshed Santa Fe to premiere in South Korea first, in late 2026, with North America and Europe following in 2027. The Santa Fe EREV, with more than 600 miles (about 965 km) of total range, is officially scheduled for the first half of 2027. Hyundai has not announced the exact date or prices yet.

Our Take
The boxy shape stays, but the new lights give the Santa Fe a calmer and more upscale look than the current model. If the production car looks like this, the design that split opinions in 2023 could become much easier to like. We will soon see how close these renderings are.
