As we have advanced, Kia Sedona nameplate is dead, and it will be replaced for the Carnival. Now Kia has released the first teaser image and placed us for February 23 for the full reveal.
The Kia Carnival, which becomes the new name for the Sedona minivan in the Kia US line-up, which was spied as a pre-production model in LA, still with old Kia badge and Sedona nameplate has already been spotted also inside of Kia Sohari plant with the new Kia badge.
We tried to clear the image and the part where the logo should be installed was intentionally darkened. Remember that we told you that All-New Carnival will be first Kia model in the US to introduce the new logo, now Kia also confirmed it in the PR.
The new Carnival MPV pushes the boundaries of design and innovation to become a multifaceted and unexpected companion.
US-spec pre-production Carnival caught with old Kia logo & Sedona nameplate
This three-row, seven- or eight-passenger adventurer takes on a bold and boxy appearance that follows the same visual language that defined the brand’s recent lineup of rugged utility vehicles, such as Telluride, Sorento, and Seltos.
Highlights include best-in-class cargo volume, a class-leading 290-horsepower V6, and a wide array of ADAS features with segment-exclusive Blind-Spot View Monitor. Now its confirmed that Carnival will be the first vehicle in the U.S. to proudly wear the new Kia badge and promote our new global brand identity.
Please stay tuned for the virtual reveal of the 2022 Carnival MPV at 11:00AM PST on Tuesday, February 23.
