Hyundai presentará el Hyundai i20 con especificaciones WRC (World Rally Championship) durante el Salón del Automóvil de París 2012, que se celebrará el 27 de septiembre. La sede europea en Offenbach (Alemania) se encargará de su desarrollo.
El modelo WRC será una variante muy modificada del modelo de serie. Hyundai ya participó anteriormente en el WRC, entre los años 2000 y 2003.
Con esta versión del Hyundai i20, la compañía se enfrentará al Volkswagen Polo-R. Las especificaciones del modelo WRC del Hyundai i20 aún no se han desvelado, pero se especula que el i20 WRC estará propulsado por un motor de gasolina turboalimentado capaz de desarrollar 200 bhp de potencia, con excelentes prestaciones de conducción y manejo.

Can you find out more about the suspension changes? Currently there are few aftermarket suspension options for the 09MY i20, which is a pity because the OEM shocks seem a bit so-so. I guess this setup is probably completely custom, but it would be great if Bilstein for example made some shocks available.
