현대자동차가 9월 27일 개막하는 2012 파리 모터쇼에서 WRC(세계 랠리 선수권) 사양의 현대 i20을 선보인다. 독일 오펜바흐에 위치한 유럽 본부가 이 모델을 개발할 예정이다.
WRC 모델은 양산형 모델을 기반으로 고성능 튜닝을 거친 버전이다. 현대는 2000년부터 2003년까지 WRC에 참가한 바 있다.
이번 i20 WRC를 통해 현대는 폴크스바겐 폴로-R과 경쟁할 예정이다. i20 WRC의 구체적인 제원은 아직 공개되지 않았지만, 터보차저 가솔린 엔진이 탑재되어 200bhp의 출력과 뛰어난 승차감 및 핸들링 성능을 발휘할 것으로 예상된다.

Can you find out more about the suspension changes? Currently there are few aftermarket suspension options for the 09MY i20, which is a pity because the OEM shocks seem a bit so-so. I guess this setup is probably completely custom, but it would be great if Bilstein for example made some shocks available.
