Genesis has officially revealed the public road driving debut of the Magma GT Concept and the X Skorpio Concept. The highly anticipated showcase took place on September 9th at the prestigious Tutto Bene Hillclimb, held near Mount Mottarone and Lake Maggiore in the Piedmont region of Italy.
The Tutto Bene Hillclimb, co-organized by Milan-based design studio BorromeodeSilva and Los Angeles-based creative agency Race Service, is an exclusive, invitation-only automotive event. Since its inception in 2024, the event has quickly become a premier gathering that celebrates the intersection of automotive culture, design, and lifestyle. The second edition of the event featured approximately 80 carefully selected vehicles.
Unlike traditional competitive hillclimbs, the core program of the Tutto Bene Hillclimb focuses on the joy of driving. Participants navigate a scenic 9-kilometer mountain road featuring 51 corners, designed purely to appreciate the performance and design of the vehicles rather than competing for times or rankings.
A Showcase of High-Performance Luxury and Extreme Off-Road Capability
The event marked the first time the Magma GT Concept and X Skorpio Concept were driven on public roads.
The Magma GT Concept: First unveiled in November 2024 at the Magma World Premiere at the Paul Ricard Circuit in France, this mid-engine luxury grand tourer symbolizes Genesis’s high-performance vision of "Luxury High Performance."
The X Skorpio Concept: Debuting in January 2025 in the Rub' al Khali desert of the UAE, this extreme off-road concept car is inspired by the lifestyle of outdoor leisure enthusiasts.
At the event, the X Skorpio Concept was driven by Genesis Magma Racing driver André Lotterer, marking its European debut. The vehicle represents a bold expansion of Genesis’s design philosophy, "Athletic Elegance," into the off-road domain.
By showcasing both a luxury grand tourer and an extreme off-road vehicle, Genesis demonstrated the broad spectrum of its high-performance vision. In addition to the driving concepts, Genesis displayed the GMR-001 Hypercar and the Box Buggy Concept, highlighting the brand's extensive technical capabilities ranging from motorsports to future mobility.
Genesis also participated in last year's event, where André Lotterer drove the X Gran Berlinetta Concept, leaving a lasting impression on global automotive fans and spectators.
