According to these pictures that we received from South Korea, Kia is already working on a light facelift for the Rio to help keep it in a very competitive European B-segment.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:5px;”] These are the first pictures that confirm this. The front and rear end is currently under camouflagle.

We expect that the refreshed Kia Rio will have an updated front grille, bumpers and LED daytime running lights. The interior could get a minor revision as well. The front bumper looks alike the current model, so maybe Kia is just starting with the test drives.

The Rio may also gain a set of restyled alloy-wheels, colours trims and an updated infotainment equipment.

About the engines, maybe finally Kia decided to mount the small turbo engines, with the three-cylinder 1.0-liter Kappa delivering 105 hp. Stay tuned!
