The 2026 Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition has officially debuted at the 2025 New York International Auto Show, bringing an aggressive and sophisticated new design to the award-winning, all-electric three-row SUV. Expanding on the popular Nightfall Edition styling previously seen on models like the Seltos, Sportage, and Telluride, the EV9 now receives its own distinctive and exclusive makeover—combining sleek aesthetics with robust performance and family-focused functionality.

Bold Design That Demands Attention

The Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition sets itself apart with exclusive exterior upgrades, including a Gloss Black grille, skid plates, roof rails, outside mirrors, and lower door side sills. New 20-inch Gloss Black wheels with dark Kia emblems, wrapped in 275/50R-20 all-season tires, further amplify the EV9’s street presence. Signature black Kia and EV9 badging complete the striking look.

One standout feature is the introduction of Roadrider Brown, a new, Nightfall-exclusive earthtone paint color that accentuates the EV9’s rugged elegance and hints at its off-road aspirations.

Interior Sophistication Meets Practicality

Inside, the EV9 Nightfall Edition continues the dark theme with a Black interior color scheme, unique seat upholstery patterns, genuine seat stitching, and a black headliner. It comes standard with six-passenger seating via luxurious second-row captain’s chairs. For larger families or those needing more flexibility, a seven-passenger configurationwith a 60/40 split-fold second-row bench is available at no additional cost.

Performance That Excites

The 2026 Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition is not just about looks—it delivers enhanced performance with a standard Boost function that increases torque from 443 lb.-ft to a thrilling 516 lb.-ft, helping it sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. With a dual-motor setup producing 379 horsepower, this SUV balances practicality with pulse-pounding power.

Electrified for the Future

Built on Kia’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV9 Nightfall Edition offers fast charging capabilities and has adopted the North American Charging Standard (NACS), granting access to Tesla’s expansive Supercharger network. With an optional adapter, owners can also connect to existing Combined Charging System (CCS) networks for even more flexibility and convenience on long drives.

Made in America, Eligible for Tax Credits

Proudly assembled at Kia’s West Point, Georgia facility, the EV9 Nightfall Edition is more than a visual upgrade—it’s a statement of Kia’s commitment to electric innovation and American manufacturing. With final assembly in the U.S., the EV9 now qualifies for the federal EV tax credit, making it an even more appealing option for eco-conscious families.
