When we saw, a few months ago, the first spy shots we can’t believe that South Korean carmaker has that level of development in the next generation Hyundai i30. A few weeks ago I saw a few spy pictures of a mysterious hatchback from South Korea, and now, thanks to new pictures of the future i30 that came from China, including a small view of the interior (seats & doors).

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]At first, we looked at the South Korea forums where users talked about this could be the next-generation i30, but after we met the new generation Elantra, we are sure that the new i30 will be more than ever a hatchback version of the Elantra.

If you have a closer look to the new Hyundai i30 pictures, the car have the same fog lights/air intakes than the new Elantra. Also it shares more parts like the hexagonal front grille, exterior mirrors, than long hood that provides a wider and lower car. The interior looks very different, with a new door panels design, and a black/white upholstery.

The new i30 will uses the same design cues followed by the new Elantra, like with the new slim and sporty headlights, redesigned wheel arches, a refined design based on the Fluidic Sculpture philosophy.

Engine line-up could be formed by CRDi 1.6 diesel engines with the possibility of the in-house 7-speed automatic transmission and it also could be available with the new three-cylinder 1.0-liter 120 hp Kappa T-GDi engine. The Hyundai i30 will be first model under the “N performance” brand.
