Probably, the stunning Hyundai N Vision 74 concept car made us forgot about the IONIQ 5 N, but the South Korean carmaker also had time to say why they did not reveal it at the Hyundai N. Apparently the IONIQ 5 N is not ready yet and will be showcased in early 2023.
What we know so far?
Well, we spied Hyundai Ioniq 5 high performance model once again and this time just outside the Nürburgring. The prototype is looking rather sporty in its N colors and the N slogan “Never just drive” and was seen testing together with an Kia EV6.
From the outside there are basically no visible changes except for the lower ride and the wider low-profile tires. The stiffer suspension and bigger brakes will help the Ioniq 5 N keep on track. The wider tires forced Hyundai to add some small fender flares on the wheel arches as we can see even if they don’t really look production ready.
We think that the N inspired camouflage is hiding some sportier looking bumpers in order to match the exterior with the expected power bump.
The interior will most likely also get a few N touches with sport seats and a sporty steering wheel and of course some N logos.
Power wise it could pack the 585 hp configuration that’s already been found in the sister model from Kia, the EV6 GT. Or do you think Hyundai has even more power planned for the Ioniq 5 N?
