Hyundai Motor Europe has officially announced the expansion of its all-electric A-segment lineup with the introduction of the INSTER Lounge. Positioned as the new top-of-the-range variant, this premium model builds directly on the massive success of the standard INSTER and the rugged INSTER Cross.
Designed specifically to challenge conventional expectations in the compact electric segment, the INSTER Lounge brings unprecedented comfort, upgraded material quality, and unmatched interior flexibility to European urban mobility.

What Defines the Hyundai INSTER Lounge?
While the standard INSTER focuses on delivering accessible, highly efficient, and practical urban mobility, the INSTER Lounge shifts the focus toward an interior-driven, premium experience.
Unlike the outdoor-themed INSTER Cross, the Lounge variant is defined by a sophisticated, calm, and refined environment tailored specifically to elevate everyday driving.

Hyundai has moved away from typical budget-focused A-segment materials, opting instead for natural leather seats, a knitted headliner, and premium speakers utilizing Kevlar membranes for a superior acoustic experience.
The vehicle seamlessly blends this luxury with everyday practicality. Thanks to the standard fully foldable front-row seats and sliding, adjustable second-row seats, the cabin can instantly transform to accommodate oversized cargo or leisure equipment. A dedicated luggage board further optimizes trunk space, making it a highly adaptable companion for European city commuting and weekend getaways alike.

The INSTER Lounge steps up its visual presence with a more structured and confident appearance. The redesigned front grille and exclusive silver side claddings give the micro-SUV a premium road presence.

Standard Range: A 42 kWh battery paired with a 71 kW (97 PS) electric motor.
Long Range: A 49 kWh battery paired with an 84 kW (115 PS) electric motor.
With a driving range extending up to approximately 360 kilometers (WLTP) on a single charge, the INSTER Lounge easily handles both daily routines and longer regional trips. When it is time to plug in, the vehicle supports DC fast charging, capable of replenishing the battery from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 30 minutes under optimal conditions.

The INSTER Lounge introduces a curated color palette designed to accentuate its contemporary design. Alongside the signature Glow Mint launch color, European buyers can choose from:
