Hyundai Motor is kicking off 2025 with a strong push to revitalize domestic sales through the launch of the All-New Palisade. As production ramps up, Hyundai is set to produce and sell over 4,000 units per month, with a keen focus on leveraging the vehicle’s popularity after securing over 45,000 pre-orders.

Strong Demand for the New Palisade

Since its official launch on January 15, the new Palisade has generated significant interest among consumers. Industry reports indicate that Hyundai recorded 1,234 sales in January, a number expected to rise significantly in the coming months. This surge in demand follows a remarkable pre-contract phase in December, during which Hyundai secured over 45,000 reservations for the new model, demonstrating immense consumer anticipation.

A Complete Overhaul After Six Years

The All-New Palisade represents a full model change, the first since the vehicle’s initial debut in November 2018. This latest iteration boasts a bold and commanding exterior design, an expansive and versatile interior, and configurations that include three-row seven-seater and nine-seater models. These enhancements have fueled customer enthusiasm, setting the stage for a major sales boost in 2024.

Hyundai Targets 58,000 Annual Sales

Despite sluggish sales of only 2,967 units for the Palisade last year, Hyundai anticipates a substantial turnaround. With more than 45,000 pre-orders already secured, the company expects to sell at least 4,000 units per month, beginning in February. To meet its ambitious annual target of 58,000 units, Hyundai will need to sustain monthly sales of approximately 4,800 units throughout the year.

Market Impact and Future Outlook

The overwhelming pre-order numbers suggest that Hyundai has successfully captured consumer interest with the new Palisade. As production scales up and deliveries accelerate, Hyundai is well-positioned to regain its foothold in the domestic SUV market. The combination of innovative design, enhanced features, and strong consumer demand places the new Palisade in a prime position for success in 2024.

With an aggressive sales strategy and overwhelming pre-order momentum, Hyundai’s latest flagship SUV is poised to become a key driver of the company’s domestic market resurgence.
