Kia has officially expanded its flagship recreational vehicle lineup in South Korea by launching the exclusive Black Edition alongside the updated 2027 Sportage, 2027 Sorento, and 2027 Carnival.

Based on the top-tier "Signature" trim, the new Black Edition brings a bold, darkened aesthetic, upgraded cabin appointments, and dedicated digital themes to Kia’s three best-selling family vehicles.

The Black Edition elevates road presence with refined, dark-toned visual accents:

• Exterior Enhancements: Finished with dark metal detailing, high-gloss black trim, and newly designed exclusive alloy wheels.

• Interior Upgrades: Premium black suede headliners and custom-embossed headrest emblems create an upscale ambiance.

• Connected Digital Experience: Owners gain complimentary access to exclusive Black Edition infotainment display themes via the Kia Connect Store.

Key Upgrades for the 2027 Model Year

Alongside the Black Edition trim, each 2027 model year vehicle receives strategic tech, comfort, and safety upgrades:

• 2027 Kia Sportage: All trims now feature standard 12.3-inch navigation, Highway Driving Assist, and Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control. The mid-tier Noblesse trim adds Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Electronic Child Lock, power-adjustable front passenger seat with lumbar support and walk-in device, Safe Exit Assist, and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist.
