According to LF Sonata with LOVE forum, the car on the picture below will be an All-New Sonata with a CRDi diesel engine, ready to fight in an increasingly competitive South Korean local market.

Currently we don’t have more information, but maybe we’ll know more in few days coinciding with the opening of the 2014 Busan International Motor Show, held in May 29, where Hyundai will debut a Grandeur diesel and a new RWD mid-size luxury sedan to be fitted between the Grandeur (FWD) and Genesis.

Why not bring it here, to North America? Sales would really take off. Everyone is waiting for the Mazda 6 Diesel, why not beat them to the punch.

I don’t think america is ready for diesel just yet. The diesel price usually scares those customers away.
