Genesis G90 Facelift Spied in Light Camouflage, Revealing Two-Line Lights Front and Rear

Genesis G90 facelift prototype in light camouflage

The Genesis G90 facelift is almost ready. New spy photos captured by our colleagues at Healer TV show the updated flagship sedan wearing only a thin camouflage wrap, giving us the clearest look yet at its production body ahead of its December debut in South Korea (December launch).

A Thin Wrap Over The Production Body

Earlier prototypes hid their shape under heavy padding and cladding. This one wears just a tight geometric wrap, so the final surfaces are easy to read: a long, low hood, a sleek roofline, flush-looking door handles and a bright lower body trim running along the sills. It is the clearest sign that testing has reached its final stage.

Two-Line Lights At The Front

Up front, the G90 adopts slim two-line lighting that stretches across the nose and wraps around the corners, while two thin lines meet in a V shape at the center, where Genesis's crest sits. We had already seen the new illuminated Crest grille on previous prototypes (illuminated grille leaked). The lower bumper is also all-new, with a wide intake and mesh openings at the corners, in line with the V-shaped lower intake we reported earlier (new front fascia).

Two-Line Taillights At The Rear

The second photo confirms the new two-line taillights, which stretch along the trunk lid and into the rear fenders. As we revealed earlier this month, each line is made of two strips: the thicker one works as the running and brake light, and the thinner one as the indicator (two-line taillights leaked). A thin light bar also sits low on the rear bumper.

The prototype rides on large multi-spoke wheels in a dark finish, with the Genesis logo on the center caps.

What We Already Know

  • Interior: a coachbuilt-style 3-dial digital instrument cluster and a wide Pleos display inspired by the GV90 (interior revealed).

  • Technology: the G90 facelift is set to be Korea's first production car with Level 3 autonomous driving (Level 3 confirmed).

  • Powertrain: the G90 stays a combustion-engine flagship, with its twin-turbo V6 engines expected to carry over.

When Will It Debut?

The refreshed G90 is targeted for a December 2026 launch in South Korea. As usual, other markets will follow later, with the US version likely arriving as a 2028 model.
