Scooped: Next Generation Hyundai Equus Spied for the First Time

Few weeks ago we published several spy shots of a Hyundai Genesis Coupe test mule in Colorado, U.S. With this Genesis Coupe, we saw a couple of Genesis Sedan, one with black bumpers and another one with fully camouflage.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”] Looking at the pictures, we saw something unusual in the C-pillar of the vehicles. Both cars have a large piece of sheetmetal riveted behind the rear doors to stretch the body plus a longer wheelbase.

The car was spotted testing with the BMW 7 Series and Kia K900 as well, while prototypes of the current Genesis sedan was always spotted testing with BMW 5 Series. So we expected that this car is the next-gen Equus.

The new generation Hyundai Equus will debut as a 2016 or 2017 model year and will include V8 engines and All-Wheel Drive. The current Hyundai Equus was launched at the 2010 New York AutoShow. Stay tuned for more info soon!
