Mit der nächsten Generation des 2016 Kia Sportage, der seine Tests vom europäischen F&E-Zentrum bis zum Polarkreis beginnt, möchten wir heute ein Rendering teilen, wie der neue Sportage aussehen könnte.
Aktuelle Berichte, Erlkönigfotos und dieses Rendering bestätigen, was uns einige Enthusiasten mitgeteilt haben: Der 2016 Kia Sportage der nächsten Generation (Codename QL) wird die Designlinien des nur in China erhältlichen KX3-Modells übernehmen.
An der Front dieser Prototypen sehen wir einen größeren Tiger-Nose-Kühlergrill in 3D-Optik zwischen neuen, umlaufenden Scheinwerfern und markanteren Nebelscheinwerfern, während die Seitenlinie dem aktuellen Sportage ähnelt. Am Heck werden neu gestaltete LED-Rückleuchten mit separat angeordneten Rückfahr- und Blinkleuchten wie beim aktuellen Modell kombiniert.
Seit seiner Markteinführung im Jahr 2010 war die dritte Generation des 2016 Kia Sportage (in Südkorea auch Sportage R genannt) ein voller Erfolg für Kia. Mit einem atemberaubenden Design überraschte der Sportage alle und steigerte das Markenimage von Kia weltweit. Für Kia wird es eine sehr schwierige Aufgabe sein, das Design des Sportage zu verbessern, ohne etwas langweilig zu wirken.
Beim Motorenangebot wird erwartet, dass es die gleiche Motorenpalette wie der gestern vorgestellte brandneue Hyundai Tucson umfasst, einschließlich eines 1.6 T-GDi mit 180 PS und eines 7-Gang-Doppelkupplungsgetriebes. Auf der Dieselseite wird der verbesserte 1.7 CRDi mit 116 PS am meisten im europäischen Markt gefragt sein. Ein 2.0 mit 136 und 190 PS wird das Dieselangebot vervollständigen. Das Benzinangebot wird durch den 1.6 Gamma GDi-Saugmotor wie im aktuellen Sportage ergänzt. Derzeit gibt es keine Neuigkeiten zu kleinen Turbomotoren wie dem 1.2 T-GDi mit 132 PS.

Ehh... this wont be the new Sportage, The front will closely resemble the Niro concept...
Kia wouldn't screw up an award winining design. I'll wait to see the actual product.

based on the tuscon and current success of the sportage there is no way the Sportage will look like this. Kia has made mistakes before but they will never make one this bad.

It will obviously get the Tiger Nose grille, but these renderings are poorly executed. Kia's new products are styled aggressively and with masculinity, including the Sedona/Carnival minivan. The 2nd one does look better, but I think it looks a little too Subaru (other than the grille).
The new Kia Sportage looks amazing, cant wait to see it in person!
That is simply hideous (so glad that the Chinese have the KX-3 to themselves).
It is unbelievable how ignorant & uninformed the people at TheKoreanCarBlog are. The Sportage will get it's design cues from the Niro concept... especially the front. And look at TheKoreanCarBlog show all these poor & pointless renderings from complete amateurs & waste time talking about it in a whole article.
Yesterday i had a very good day with the Optima wagon concept, but as for today the first picture of this article makes me sick. It definitely doesnt fit to KIAs current design line. Although im not into the Sportage the new render picture is much much much better and the hope goes on.
We always try to share with you some renders of how the future models will look, because I think is a good way to know your opinions. The thing is, I don't know why you as always like to comment and call us as ignorants. We are just sharing.
