Con la próxima generación del Kia Sportage 2016 iniciando sus pruebas desde el Centro de I+D europeo hasta el Círculo Polar Ártico, hoy queremos compartir un render de cómo podría ser el nuevo Sportage.
Los últimos informes, fotos espía y este render confirman lo que algunos entusiastas nos contaron: la próxima generación del Kia Sportage 2016 (con código QL) seguirá las líneas de diseño del modelo KX3, exclusivo para China.
En la parte delantera de estos prototipos vemos una parrilla Tiger-nose tridimensional más grande entre nuevos faros envolventes y unos antiniebla más prominentes, mientras que en el lateral se mantiene la línea del Sportage actual. En la zaga, los LED traseros de nuevo diseño se combinarán con luces de marcha atrás e intermitentes separadas, como en el modelo actual.
Desde su lanzamiento en 2010, la tercera generación del Kia Sportage 2016 (también llamado Sportage R en Corea del Sur) fue un éxito rotundo para Kia. Con un diseño sorprendente, el Sportage cautivó a todos y mejoró la imagen de la marca Kia en todo el mundo. Para Kia, mejorar el diseño del Sportage será una tarea muy difícil sin caer en lo aburrido.
En cuanto a la gama de motores, se espera que incluya la misma oferta del nuevo Hyundai Tucson presentado ayer, con la incorporación de un 1.6 T-GDi de 180 CV y una transmisión de doble embrague de 7 velocidades. En diésel, el mejorado 1.7 CRDi de 116 CV será el más demandado en el mercado europeo. Un 2.0 de 136 y 190 CV completará la gama diésel. La gama de gasolina se completará con el 1.6 Gamma GDi atmosférico, como en el Sportage actual. Por ahora, no hay noticias sobre motores turbo pequeños como el 1.2 T-GDi de 132 CV.

Ehh... this wont be the new Sportage, The front will closely resemble the Niro concept...
Kia wouldn't screw up an award winining design. I'll wait to see the actual product.

based on the tuscon and current success of the sportage there is no way the Sportage will look like this. Kia has made mistakes before but they will never make one this bad.

It will obviously get the Tiger Nose grille, but these renderings are poorly executed. Kia's new products are styled aggressively and with masculinity, including the Sedona/Carnival minivan. The 2nd one does look better, but I think it looks a little too Subaru (other than the grille).
The new Kia Sportage looks amazing, cant wait to see it in person!
That is simply hideous (so glad that the Chinese have the KX-3 to themselves).
It is unbelievable how ignorant & uninformed the people at TheKoreanCarBlog are. The Sportage will get it's design cues from the Niro concept... especially the front. And look at TheKoreanCarBlog show all these poor & pointless renderings from complete amateurs & waste time talking about it in a whole article.
Yesterday i had a very good day with the Optima wagon concept, but as for today the first picture of this article makes me sick. It definitely doesnt fit to KIAs current design line. Although im not into the Sportage the new render picture is much much much better and the hope goes on.
We always try to share with you some renders of how the future models will look, because I think is a good way to know your opinions. The thing is, I don't know why you as always like to comment and call us as ignorants. We are just sharing.
