The iconic Nürburgring Nordschleife just got a massive injection of electric adrenaline. Genesis has officially announced that the GV60 Magma—the brand’s very first all-electric, high-performance vehicle—is joining the enhanced Genesis G70 sporty saloon in the highly successful Genesis Track Taxi programme.
This thrilling addition gives automotive enthusiasts a rare opportunity to experience the raw power of the new EV SUV before it officially hits European roads later this year.
The Ultimate EV Performance Test at the "Green Hell"
Launched in 2024, the Genesis Track Taxi Nordschleife programme offers passenger rides around Germany’s legendary Nürburgring. Known globally as one of the most technically demanding racetracks in existence, the circuit spans 20.832 kilometres, features 73 complex corners, and throws a constantly changing road surface at drivers.
Peter Kronschnabl, Managing Director of Genesis Motor Europe, highlighted the importance of this expansion:
"The launch of Track Taxi Nordschleife in 2024 was an important milestone in our brand journey. Introducing GV60 Magma to the programme is the next chapter in our growth strategy as we continue to invest across Europe. Now, fans and customers can experience the emotion and precision of Genesis’ exceptional all-electric performance on one of the world’s most demanding racetracks."
Meet the Contenders: Electric Might vs. Twin-Turbo V6
Whether you prefer the roar of a combustion engine or the instant torque of an electric powertrain, the Genesis Track Taxi garage has you covered.
The Newcomer: Genesis GV60 Magma (All-Electric EV)
The GV60 Magma redefines all-electric performance with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup. Each electric motor spins to over 20,000 rpm, delivering a staggering combined output of 478 kW (650 PS) and 790 Nm of torque.
0-62 mph Acceleration: 3.4 seconds (with BOOST mode)
0-124 mph Acceleration: 10.9 seconds
Top Speed: 165 mph
Stopping Power: 100 km/h to a dead stop in just 33.8 metres, thanks to massive 400mm disc brakes and performance-optimised regenerative braking.
To handle the extreme forces of the Nordschleife, the GV60 Magma relies on Michelin Pilot Sport 5S tyres, an electronic Limited-Slip Differential (e-LSD), and a state-of-the-art torque vectoring system to eliminate understeer and oversteer. Passengers will also enjoy an authentic engine tone via the electric Active Sound Design (e-ASD) system while strapped into Genesis' new 10-way high-performance bucket seats.

The Proven Veteran: Genesis G70 Sporty Saloon
Remaining a core part of the programme, a duo of modified Genesis G70 saloons have already carried nearly 3,000 guests around the track, completing 1,300 laps (over 27,080 kilometres) and burning through 180 sets of tyres.
Engine: 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6
Output: 272 kW (370 PS) and 510 Nm of torque
0-62 mph Acceleration: 5.4 seconds
The G70 remains a fan favourite for its robust engineering, outstanding build quality, and perfect balance of track composure and passenger comfort.
