현대 크레타의 디자인은 현대자동차의 진화된 디자인 철학을 바탕으로 프리미엄 감각을 따랐다. 대담한 전면부, 볼륨감 있는 측면, 스포티한 후면 등 세부 요소 간의 조화가 프리미엄 소형 SUV 디자인을 완성했다.
대담하고 화려한 외관을 갖춘 크레타는 독특한 육각형 라디에이터 그릴, 날렵한 프로필, 안정적인 자세를 특징으로 한다. 숨겨진 A-필러는 독특하고 역동적인 이미지를 부여하며, 개방감 있고 통풍이 잘 되는 실내를 암시한다.
현대 크레타라는 이름은 그리스에서 가장 큰 섬인 크레타(Crete)의 이름에서 주로 유래했다.
지중해에 위치한 크레타는 전성기 때 유럽, 아시아, 아프리카를 연결하며 무역과 문화에서 그리스의 세계적 영향력의 중심지였다.
크레타는 가장 빠르게 성장하는 차량 세그먼트 중 하나에서 현대자동차 브랜드의 영향력 있는 글로벌 모델이 될 것이며, 신규 및 기존 시장에서 더 많은 소비자에게 다가가는 데 도움을 줄 것이다.

댓글 3개OK, one question. Till now i have heard many and many times, that ix25 is not for Europe, and US & Europe will get other crossover, based on Intrado. Ix25 is for China and India only. Now suddenly is for China, India (with new name), but probably for the rest of the world - Australia, US and Europe as well. One word to describe it - shortcut - why bother and develop new car for 2 more years and lots of millions, if you can make some minor changes. like grill, lights etc. and say that you have completely new car for Europe and US. Of course save features must be fixed, but it can be done and... Brand new Hyundai Creta for Europe! Taaaaraaaaaa.
Denis - i agree 100% and this is exactly what i would do! Launch Creta in Europe this september in Frankfurt. My post was to show the diffrences between what they should do and have finally decided to do, and their official language till now (not based on ix25, will be based on Intrado, in 2-3 years). For me it was very strange, but it was official line of HMC. Now "turnaround 180" which i think is good, but reliability of Hyundai can suffer...
in my mind it's just a name changing to Creta over the chinease ix 25 they rebadge with an upgrade interior and engine/gearbox and ship to europe and northAm from china! big deal whynot ?
