Hyundai Motor America has officially expanded its Digital Features and Services platform, allowing eligible U.S. vehicle owners to download and activate customizable in-car features via over-the-air (OTA) updates.

By utilizing the Bluelink Store®, drivers can now upgrade and personalize their vehicle's infotainment and driver displays over its lifecycle without needing to visit a physical dealership.

What is Hyundai Digital Features and Services?

Hyundai’s Digital Features and Services is an on-demand software platform hosted within the Bluelink App and website. It acts as an in-app marketplace where owners can browse, purchase, and manage software-enabled features.

Once a feature is selected, it is delivered directly to the vehicle via an OTA update and installed by the user. These software upgrades remain tied to the vehicle for its lifespan, meaning they will automatically transfer to subsequent owners if the car is sold.

Eligible Hyundai Models for OTA Upgrades

The platform expansion brings these digital capabilities to six of Hyundai’s highest-volume and newest models in the United States. The eligible vehicles include:

  • Hyundai IONIQ 9: Eligible 2026 model year and later (initial rollout)

  • Hyundai Palisade: Eligible 2026 model year and later (initial rollout)

  • Hyundai Santa Fe: Eligible 2024 model year and later

  • Hyundai Tucson: Eligible 2025 model year and later

  • Hyundai Santa Cruz: Eligible 2025 model year and later

  • Hyundai IONIQ 5: Eligible 2025 model year and later

Technical Requirement: To support these features, vehicles must be equipped with Hyundai’s embedded Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) infotainment system.

Available Custom Display Themes

As part of the initial expansion rollout, Hyundai is offering four distinct Display Themes. These packages alter the colors, graphics, and animations on both the driver display cluster and the main infotainment touchscreen, including custom startup and shutdown sequences.

1. "Nature"

A theme focused on organic elements and calm, serene visuals designed to create a relaxing cabin environment. Charges may apply.

2. "Hyundai Pony"

A nostalgic visual tribute to the 1974 Hyundai Pony—the brand's very first mass-produced vehicle, originally designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. Charges may apply.

3. "PEANUTS Display Theme"

A collection of three distinct layouts featuring Snoopy and classic PEANUTS characters, incorporating family-friendly designs and road-trip imagery. Charges may apply.

4. "FIFA World Cup 2026™ Display Theme"

An all-new theme celebrating the upcoming tournament. It integrates the official FIFA World Cup 2026 logo alongside visuals of Boston Dynamics’ Atlas® and Spot® robots. Complimentary for U.S. customers through October 19, 2026

All I want is the option for traditional, circular gauges on Gen5W electric vehicles. Should be easy, as the gauges already exist in Gen5W for previous vehicles, like '23 and earlier Sonata hybrids.

Why the 2024 models like 2024 Kona? It has the exact same infotainment system.

Why not on the 2024 cars like a 2024 Kona? They all have the exact same infotainment system unlike the Elantra’s
