페이스리프트된 2013 기아 쏘렌토의 개발이 계속되고 있으며, 오늘 한국에서 직접 찍은 새로운 스파이샷을 공개한다. 외관의 가장 큰 변화는 헤드라이트와 안개등으로, 완전히 새롭게 디자인된다. 이번 스파이샷에서는 새로운 리어 램프도 확인할 수 있다.
유럽 시장을 겨냥한 신형 씨드 해치백과 크게 다르지 않은 디자인이 적용될 것으로 예상된다. 현재 세대의 쏘렌토 CUV는 2009년 3월 뉴욕 오토쇼에서 처음 공개됐다. 이 사진의 차량은 인기 모델의 페이스리프트 버전으로, 겨울 테스트 중 포착됐다. 엔진에 대해서는 확정된 바 없지만, 올 뉴 싼타페에 탑재된 2.0 T-GDi 및 2.2 CRDi R-엔진이 적용될 가능성이 높다.
