The second generation Hyundai Genesis won the Residual Value Award 2015 in the premium vehicle category from Automotive Lease Guide (ALG), an important industry consultancy in the United States.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]According to Hyundai Motor America on November 18, the residual value is calculated to identify the future value of the vehicle through a comprehensive analysis of the vehicle’s quality, brand awareness, sales strategy, and so on. The higher the residual value is the more expensive is the used car price of the vehicle.

In this assessment, the Genesis got thumbs-upthanks to its “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0”-applied design and industry-leading safety and convenience items, including the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and the Advanced Smart Cruise Control (ASCC).

In addition to the Genesis, other Hyundai & Kia Motors vehicles ranked higher in the assessment, including Santa Fe (No. 2 SUV), LF Sonata (No. 3 Midsized sedan), Azera (No. 3 Large sedan), Sedona (No. 2 – Minivans), Soul (No. 3 – Small SUV) and K900 (No. 3 Premium vehicle).
