Beijing Hyundai has officially pulled the curtain back on the IONIQ V, a medium-sized electric sedan that marks the beginning of a bold new chapter for the brand in China. Emerging from recent Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) filings and its debut at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, the IONIQ V is the first production model under a sub-brand tailored specifically for the Chinese market.
With a design philosophy rooted in "Global Quality + Chinese Wisdom," the IONIQ V combines Hyundai’s world-class engineering with cutting-edge local intelligence.

The IONIQ V is built on the E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform), a dedicated pure-electric architecture that allows for superior efficiency and cabin space.
Exceptional Range: The long-range version of the IONIQ V delivers over 600 km (CLTC standard) on a single charge, making it a competitive choice for both urban commutes and long-distance travel.
800V High-Voltage Fast Charging: One of the standout features of the IONIQ V is its 800V architecture, which enables ultra-fast charging speeds, significantly reducing downtime at charging stations.
