Kia Motors Korea gab den offiziellen Verkaufsstart des „K5 2015“ ab dem 13. Mai bekannt. Der K5 2015 bietet einen niedrigeren Preis durch erschwingliche Leasingangebote sowie verbesserte Sicherheit und Komfort, ergänzt um ein Reifendruckkontrollsystem (TPMS), einen USB-Ladeanschluss und 18-Zoll-Leichtmetallfelgen als Serienausstattung.
Im Detail ist der K5 2015 mit einer schwarzen Luxus-Leichtmetallfelge und Chrom-Sputtering-Leichtmetallfelgen ausgestattet.
Die Ausstattung mit dem schwarzen Hochglanz-Interieur, das bisher nur für Turbomodelle erhältlich war, wird nun auch auf den saugmotorisierten K5 Benzinmotor ausgeweitet.
Der Verkaufspreis für den Optima (wie der K5 im Ausland genannt wird) beträgt 22,1 Millionen Won (28,2 Millionen Won für das 2,0-Liter-CVVL-Modell), 28,05 Millionen Won (30,2 Millionen Won für das 2,0-Liter-Turbo-GDi-Modell) und 29,03 Millionen Won (32,2 Millionen Won für das K5 Hybrid-Modell), jeweils basierend auf Automatikgetrieben.

Yeah, we reported that few weeks ago. The new Optima is expected to debut in 2015, during Detroit Motor Show or New York Motor Show in April, first of all, will be revealed in South Korea at the end of the year or earlier 2015.
The next K5/Optima will be released next year, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think HMA would be foolish enough to release two vehicles that are in the same class segment, since that would easily hurt sales on both companies.
