기아자동차가 5월 13일부터 “K5 2015”의 공식 판매를 시작한다고 밝혔다. K5 2015는 합리적인 리스 조건과 함께 가격을 낮추고, 타이어 공기압 경보 시스템(TPMS), USB 충전기, 18인치 알로이 휠을 기본 사양으로 적용해 안전과 편의성을 개선했다.
세부적으로 K5 2015에는 블랙 럭셔리 알로이 휠과 크롬 스퍼터링 알로이 휠이 추가됐다.
기존 터보 모델에만 적용됐던 블랙 하이글로시 인테리어가 자연흡기 K5 가솔린 모델까지 확대 적용된다.
K5(해외에서는 옵티마로 불림)의 판매 가격은 2,210만 원(2.0 CVVL 모델 2,820만 원), 2,805만 원(2.0 터보 GDi 모델 3,020만 원), 2,903만 원(K5 하이브리드 모델 3,220만 원)이며, 모두 자동변속기 기준이다.

Yeah, we reported that few weeks ago. The new Optima is expected to debut in 2015, during Detroit Motor Show or New York Motor Show in April, first of all, will be revealed in South Korea at the end of the year or earlier 2015.
The next K5/Optima will be released next year, if I'm not mistaken. I don't think HMA would be foolish enough to release two vehicles that are in the same class segment, since that would easily hurt sales on both companies.
